My friend, Laura, and I were preparing to write our Brides of Golden Valley Series, so we decided it was time to do some exploring. We loaded up in my car and headed off to Idaho where we went on tours of old towns, settlements, and even toured buildings that have been around since the mid-1800s. 

Stricker Station was one of the bigger stops on the way between Salt Lake City and Boise, Idaho. There were stores, churches, cellars for food, and a general store. Check out these fun pieces of history!
